We were called in at the early stages of this project when the last water feature contractor left them, we liaised with the architect, client and main contractor to work out a solution that worked for all.
The feature was a complete building site see the first pictures. We suggested fibre glassing lining in black, and integral gravel filter that could be sited in the feature so no external filters or pipework on show. Also easy maintenance and cleaning, no fish should be stocked because there isn’t the depth but we recommended planting.
After a while we found out that this feature was going to be featured on Grand Designs, we were filmed and interviewed (you can see us on the episode) the fact that it was a moat was an integral part of the design of the house.
